Bathroom Remodel

Whoops!  It has been a while.  Life. Lets catch up.
In September of 2016 we moved into our new home.
EVERYTHING was painted flat white and the carpet was white.
It all had to GO.
So we started the DIY process.

First up, the guest/kids bathroom.
Previously we had mixed together a couple gallons of paint to create this ocean splash-like color.  We painted it mostly because our kids thought the bathroom was 'creepy' all white with stained linoleum. Painting it got them to use it and not keep coming to the master bath.

Still I knew that I wanted to do MORE with it.  I wasn't fond of the blue, but it served it's purpose.  My only regret is that it wasn't a lighter color, because it made putting a lighter gray over top of it a PAIN.

We kept the vanity and chose to just paint it white and add a new sink top instead of replacing the whole thing.  I also went and found a used medicine cabinet for $5.00 that I also painted white to match.

Like the Tile?  It's not real.  It's actually a peel and stick grout-able linoleum from Stain Master.  Almost a year later we are VERY happy with it.

We used a similar, but different color in our kitchen.  The only issue we have had was in our kitchen, our new table wasn't smooth on the bottom of the legs and when someone drug it, it made a scratch. It's not really that noticeable and could easily be replaced if wanted.  I have since put felt sliders on the bottom of the table.

The shower in the bathroom still needs to be replaced, but that will happen at a later time.  Maybe once I am no longer pregnant :)
